Transport of crude oil and its derivatives

 * The Arabian Gulfis a major artery in the supply of crude oil and oil products all over the world, and that maritime transport or transportation of ships and oil tankers is one of the most important ways of transporting petroleum products, and crude oil in the region is a complement to the requirements of trade exchange. The distance between the Gulf region and some oil consuming countries prevents the extension of oil pipelines to these countries, making maritime transport of oil an urgent necessity for the delivery of this vital material in water to those countries. The trade in crude oil and oil products obtained from it is of great importance and necessity in many areas of life, it is witnessing a great development with the expansion and rapid scientific discoveries in various areas of life in which oil has a major role in it.
Whereasthe maritime transport sector of oil and its products is the most important and oldest sectors accompanying that trade in the region since ancient times and the development witnessed by that sector, and whereas it is a complementary business of the trade of petroleum and its products, the year (2000) formed a large transitional movement for the company in this area through the acquisition of the first tanker in the group and the company where the oil tanker (Yasmine) was purchased from the United Kingdom with a capacity of (15000) tons to be used in the transport of oil products obtained from oil refining operations in refineries and delivered to consumers and buyers.
* This expansion in the field of oil trade had to be accompanied by an activity in the field of maritime transport of crude oil and various petroleum products. Since the tanker (Yasmine) was the beginning in (2000) and capacity (15000) tons, the company today owns a fleet consisting of only (12) tankers the smallest of which is the bunker processing ship (Adam) with a capacity of (5000) tons and the largest are the two giant carriers (Mustansiriya and Yarmouk) with a capacity of (135,000) tons each (one million barrels of crude oil) in addition to the tankers Baghdad - Dalima - Atlantis - Yasmine - Adam - Yarmouk - Mustansiriya - Horizon - Al Riqqa - Gulf Coastal - Moon Star for capacities starting from (5000) tons up to (135,000) tons.
